The Role – Site Superintendent
Reporting to the regional Director / TI Manager the Site Superintendent will be responsible for managing all site assets and supporting installation activities
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Set up site fabrication and storage areas to give best efficiency of space while ensuring installation demands can be achieved.
- Be responsible for identification, asset tracking and maintenance of plant and equipment required to carry out all works.
- Represent the company in logistics meeting and ensure planning is in line with client and company requirements.
- Be a safety leader in the facility and support and implement all safety initiatives necessary to run a safe workplace for all employees.
- Manage the commodity materials including Unistrut, fastners,clamps, etc
- Ensure full compliance with both contractual and programme requirements to meet site and client demands.
- Liaise with fabrication facilities and transportation team to ensure the safe loading and delivery of all prefabricated and sub-assembled items.
- Ensure work teams have the appropriate tools and equipment in order to accomplish their tasks. Manage the assets in line with the project schedule.
- Assist in planning and scheduling the project installation requirements in accordance with the agreed contract programme. Include the inputs to weekly reports to the site or client as required.
- Ensure all consumables, gases, PPE and other equipment are specified and in place to carry out the works.
- Implement the Project Quality Plan and Company Procedures across all fabrications and assemblies.
- Liaise with site and client's Representatives as required.
- Completion of any other tasks as assigned by the TI Manager or Regional Director.
Person Specification
Education, Training & Experience
- Trade requirement in pipefitting, fabrication or other related trade is essential.
- Previous workshop or supervisory experience is essential.

- Arrange training for craftworkers to carry out new or different tasks.
- Have or develop an in-depth knowledge of the plant and equipment being used for Tool install.
