Design and Construction Management for Stillhouse Upgrade
BMD provided full design and PSCS management for the removal of the existing exhaust stack from the feints stillhouse building and the installation of a new structural steel frame and stainless steel stack.
The project required large cranage for demolition and erection works, with close coordination between the design team, insulation and asbestos contractors, and the plant production team to maintain safe operations.
Works also included the removal and upgrade of pipework trays, along with the replacement of distillation and rectification columns within the brewhouse process area.
