Trusted Engineering Partner to Ireland’s First Offshore Gas Field
BMD maintained a long-standing partnership with Marathon / Kinsale Energy from the 1970s to the final decommissioning in 2022.
Our scope included fabrication and installation of structural steel and pipework for platform extensions such as Compression, Ballycotton, South West Kinsale, and Ramco. We also delivered annual maintenance, shutdowns, and system reconfigurations on the Alpha and Bravo platforms, along with ongoing works at the Inch Terminal onshore facility.
