The Role – IT Support Engineer

Reporting to the IT Manager the role of the IT Support Engineer is to provide IT support to the Mechanical Engineering Team throughout the Dublin area. The IT Support Engineer will maintain and support an installed base of computers, printers and phones in accordance to IT guidelines.

Typical tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

  • PC configuration (Windows 10)
  • Networking/router management/WAP
  • Mobile phone set up and Mobile Device Management
  • Application Support
  • Printer Management.

Person Specification

Education, Training & Experience

  • 3rd Level qualification in Computers/IT Support or IT Management
  • Minimum of 2 years’ Field experience required in the area of IT Support.
  • Highly desirable skills:
  • Hyper V Experience
  • Familiarly with BIM applications such as Autodesk product, Navisworks or other Modelling applications.
  • Database Support.
